How long does a Crystal Healing Session Last?
As part of my writing here on Substack, I wanted to answer a few ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ about energy/crystal healing, which I can then use for those visiting my website.
As I make the move back into offering Reiki & Crystal Therapy to the wider community at the time of writing this, how long a Crystal Healing session lasts is an important question to answer not only for the client, but also for myself to place the most appropriate and useful offerings out. I’ve seen places in the past where there’s that many options it becomes bewildering!
And many people approaching Reiki and/or Crystal Therapy for the first time aren’t entirely sure what to expect or what’s needed, not to mention feeling a little vulnerable, so it’s nice to have clarity around not only how much a session is, but how long also.
So how long does a Crystal Healing Session Last?!?
The Short Answer
From coming in the door, about an hour. But I would block out 1.5 hours of your time, as explained below.
The Long Answer
As with many things, it can be difficult to give a definitive time (healing doesn’t much like working to a schedule…). My Crystal Healing Sessions usually involve a combination of placement of crystals on or around the body, combined with me doing some energy healing/Reiki on you.
But there’s also time for having a brew, working out what crystals we’re going to use, pulling an oracle card or two, and setting up/taking down if the session is taking place in your own home.
Also, the healing space becomes somewhere that you may want to (confidentially) talk things out, or share experiences after the treatment. So getting in and out within the hour doesn’t always happen - therefore if you have other things to do afterwards (yeah, rest!!), it would be wise to block out 1.5 hours for your treatment.
And finally, I’m wondering whether to trial some ‘mini-treatments’ for those who are curious but not ready to commit to full sessions. 20/30 minute sessions to simply do some chakra balancing work.
